Parking at Cairns Convention Centre
The Cairns Convention Centre offers 239 undercover parking spaces, including 7 designated disabled car parking bays. Access to our car park is via Sheridan Street.
Our car park operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). If you’re attending an event at the Cairns Convention Centre (except Cairns Taipans games), the opening hours will align with the event schedule.
Please be aware that overnight parking is not permitted and parking during Cairns Taipan basketball games is unavailable to the general public, though disabled access remains accessible.
Fees:
- Up to the first 4 hours: $4
- Daily rate: $8
All prices include GST.
Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations
The Cairns Convention Centre offers 2 EV Charging Stations via the Chargefox network.
The cost for charging is $0.55 per kWh.

Long Term Car Parking
Cairns Convention Centre now offers monthly prepaid car parking.
Cost $125 including GST, per month
Apply via completing the below form and emailing to [email protected]. Once your application is processed we will provide you with a QR code, specific to the registered vehicle, which you can use to pay for your parking. Please direct enquiries to [email protected]
