The Cairns Convention Centre, in response to recent world events, will further upgrade security and vigilance to ensure the continued safety of our visitors and staff.
As a result, the community will see increased bag checks when attending public events at the Centre to ensure our patrons continue to happily and safely enjoy activities such as the basketball and concerts. If you are attending an event at the Centre I urge you to read the Conditions of Entry on our website www.cairnsconvention.com.au. We also encourage you to avoid bringing a bag to ensure fast and easy access.
The Centre is part of the AEG worldwide network of venues who will be increasing their security across all continents taking into consideration liaison with local authorities and emergency management agencies.
We look forward to welcoming guests to the Cairns Convention Centre and continuing to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our patrons and their families.
