The Cairns Convention Centre has completed the installation of two state of the art, high resolution outdoor displays and two large indoor digital signs. The indoor digital sign is located within Hall 2, home court for the Cairns Taipans and replaces the old scoreboards with state of the art LED technology. This area is often used for exhibitions during a conference and will provide clients opportunities to generate income by displaying sponsor messaging. The high resolution outdoor signage located at the entrance to the Cairns Convention Centre measures 6m x 1m and warmly welcomes inhouse guests. It can feature client logos or conference themes and allows for multiple transitioning messages. During basketball season the Centre will be able create Taipans themes and messages setting the mood for fans as soon as they arrive. The 6.3m x 3.5m cutting edge outdoor display at the city end of the Centre also welcomes visitors and features details of forthcoming events, it can transition up to 50 bulletins.Ross Steele, General Manager, Cairns Convention Centre, said, “The Centre’s new digital displays will deliver a more immersive game night experience for Taipans fans and are another example of our friendly tropical hospitality, providing a warm welcome to all who enter our building.”
